Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold Pro GX5 – A Worthy Upgrade? (Reviewed by Jason)The GX5 is the 2025 upgraded version of the Pitbull Gold Pro that features quite minor additional benefits over the previous version. It remains a very comfortable and quick head shaver with its practical, patented ergonomic design. Would I recommend upgrading from the Gold Pro to the GX5? Probably not. If your Gold Pro is working well, there’s no need to switch. Would I recommend the GX5 to someone looking for a new head shaver? Absolutely. If you have the choice between the Pitbull Gold Pro and the GX5, the GX5 is the way to go. The lather is great for getting deep into even the thickest of beards and providing a cleaning that leaves the hair healthy and the skin feeling refreshed. Overall, I give SheaMoisture an enthusiastic endorsement. My few Cons are in no way deal breakers, and you can do so much worse than this beard wash. Believe me, I have reviewed much worse on this website. As to who this beard wash is for, I would say that any guy struggling with coarse beard hair and itchy, dry skin should give SheaMoisture Beard Wash a try. Grab a bottle and use it for a week. You will feel the difference in the way your beard brushes and feels. This beard oil works similarly to a leave-in hair conditioner, replenishing the skin and hair follicles and allowing the hair to relax and shine. I reckon it is perfect for coarse and curly beards that need to be relaxed to reach their full potential. It isn’t too expensive, so it is pretty easy to grab a bottle on Amazon and give it a try for a few weeks. You might just find a great new item to add to your beard regimen, and at most, you’ll have lost around $10. While it features some minor improvements and enhanced Bluetooth technology that provides information about our shaver and shaving, I did not notice any significant difference in performance; however, it remains top-end in rotary shaver performance! The Philips i9000 Prestige provided a comfortable and close shave with minimal irritation. The ease of clearing up patches and tricky hairs, or even the lack of them, is worth noting. It’s easy to use, quiet, and shaves at a premium level. That said, a few drawbacks stood out:
I won’t go into much detail about the differences between the i9000 Prestige and the S9000 Prestige. Still, I can say that when I shaved with them side by side, I found nothing that was too different, with neither one being significantly better than the other. This is good news for the i9000 Prestige! The technology of the i9000 will be favoured by some, while others may do without it, and some may even find it a hindrance.
